About AR/WS
Associated Right of Way Services, Inc. (AR/WS) has been a trusted right of way and real estate consulting partner to local, state, and federal agencies since 1989. The firm has completed hundreds of projects — project management, cost estimating, appraisal and appraisal review, acquisition, and relocation assistance — supporting public infrastructure work from early planning through the eminent domain process when necessary.
With over 250 public agency clients served and more than 130 combined years of leadership experience across its licensed partners and vice presidents, AR/WS needed a website that could speak credibly to public agency stakeholders while staying straightforward for the team to keep current.
The work
AR/WS is one of my most loyal clients. We’ve now worked together across more than ten projects — HTML email templates, individual email signatures, an enterprise-level signature generator for the whole team, and the wider systems that keep their brand consistent across the company.
I actually inherited this website project. AR/WS had hired another developer first, and the work wasn’t landing the way they needed. Chelsea reached out to me directly for help, and I took the project over from there.
What started as a rescue turned into a full branding engagement. I helped rework their branding alongside the website itself — the navy blue palette and the AR/WS mark — then kept building outward: website design, WordPress development, email systems, and the internal tools that let their team stay consistent without needing a developer for every small change.
